Welcome to Eagle Owls and the Spring Term

I wanted to share an overview of what is happening in Eagle Owls this term. Below, you will find a snapshot of what we are learning in each subject.

Homework is an important and regular part of school life, but it is not intended to cause worry for you or your child. Your support with any homework that is set is greatly appreciated. Red folder homework will currently be given out on Fridays.

Your child will also take part in weekly spelling tests. Practice sheets will be sent home each week in their purple folders. The weekly spellings will also be available on https://www.edshed.com/en-gb/menu. . Children have their own logins for this; please contact me if you need any login details. Spelling tests will take place every Thursday.

PE will take place on Tuesdays. On these days, please ensure your child comes to school wearing the correct PE kit. It is also important that they do not wear jewellery, unless it must be covered with a plaster for a specific reason.

Please read with your child as often as possible and ask them questions about the text. If you would like ideas on how to support reading at home, feel free to speak to me.
