Our Hearts and Wings programme is a special part of life in our school community. Each year, our oldest pupils in Year 6 (“Wings”) are paired with our youngest children in EYFS (“Hearts”). Through regular time together, they build strong, caring relationships rooted in our Christian values.

The Year 6 pupils act as positive role models, helping their younger buddies grow in confidence, settle into school life, and feel a sense of belonging. In turn, the EYFS children inspire our older pupils to show compassion, patience, and leadership. As our “Hearts” grow in courage, our “Wings” learn to guide gently, serve others, and prepare for the next stage of their journey.

Together, they learn, play, and flourish, celebrating the idea that every child has a heart to be nurtured and wings ready to grow.
